Stowe Gardens, Summer 2010

Stowe Landscape Gardens had a 18thC Georgian day on Sunday 18th July.

Frank and Lizzie had a splendid day out at the invitation of the curators of Stowe at the Georgian Day, which was a pilot for a larger one intended for next year 2011. We would very much like to thank our official photographer Carolyn Hunter, who is based in Brackley.

We are happy to say that our Jane Austen Group was nobly represented!

As you'll see, many of the attendees wore costume from rather earlier Georgian times, but we think the mixture worked well and added colour to the occasion...
